JJ was born on March 24, 1966 in Dallas, Texas to Jessie Davis and Innocence Leyuas. He departed from this life on June 28, 2019.
JJ grew up in Dallas and attended Dallas Public Schools. He attended Whitney M. Young Elementary, OW Holmes Middle School and Roosevelt High School.
He accepted Christ at an early age and attended Greater New Zion.
In September of 1984, JJ welcomed his Oldest child Andre.
In August of 1985, he welcomed his Oldest daughter Rebecca.
In July of 1991, he welcomed his Baby Girl Kianesha.
JJ was an excellent artist who loved to do tattoos, enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, and loved music and dancing.
He was a dedicated friend to many and always willing to help anyone that he could.
Family that preceded JJ in death are his maternal, paternal grandparents, his sister Mary Cipriano and Confidant Michelle Arnold.
JJ leaves to cherish his memory, his father Jessie, mother Innocence, children Andre, Rebecca(Emil) and Kianesha. Siblings Dianic(Byron), Ethel, Gabriel(Toni), Antonio, Chris, Resha, Renee, Shelly, and Meka. Two granddaughters Zy’aira and Zy’onna, Confidant Gwendolyn Miller and a host of nephews, nieces, family and friends.
