There are some lives that whisper,
And some that thunder loud,
But the most beautiful lives are often those
That serve with grace, humble yet proud.
Mrs. Johnny C. Reagler lived such a life—
A life of purpose, strength, and love,
Leaving footprints here on earth
While storing treasures above.
She came into this world with promise,
On a blessed February day,
And for seventy-six precious years
She touched lives along the way.
She knew the meaning of sacrifice,
She understood both joy and pain,
She learned that even in the darkest storms,
God’s sunshine comes again.
Her hands may have grown weary,
And her body may have grown tired,
But her spirit carried beauty and strength
That never once expired.
She loved, she gave, she nurtured,
She poured from a generous heart,
And every soul she encountered
Received a precious part.
Though tears now fill our eyes,
And sorrow grips our soul,
We rest in knowing death did not win—
It only made her whole.
For to be absent from the body
Is to be present with the Lord.
Her earthly race is now complete;
She has received her reward.
No more suffering, no more burdens,
No more sleepless nights or pain,
She now walks streets of glory
Where peace forever reigns.
And though we wish for one more moment,
One more word, one more embrace,
We thank God for every memory
Time can never erase.
A smile remembered.
A voice cherished.
A laugh treasured.
A love unbroken.
Mrs. Johnny’s life reminds us
That greatness is not always fame;
Sometimes it’s simply loving well
And honoring God’s holy name.
So today we do not say goodbye—
No, this is not the end.
We simply say, “Until we meet again,”
To our mother, sister, loved one, and friend.
Sleep peacefully, Mrs. Johnny.
Rest gently in heaven’s light.
Your work is done, your crown is won,
And everything is now alright.
Though your chair may now sit empty,
Your presence still remains.
For love like yours leaves echoes
That time cannot restrain.
And as we mourn, may we remember:
A life well lived never truly dies.
It lives in stories, hearts, and legacies—
And in the hope beyond the skies.
So we honor you today, Mrs. Johnny C. Reagler—
For your life was a blessing,
Your memory a treasure,
You are loved beyond words,
And missed beyond measure.
A life well lived…
A race well run…
A crown well earned…
Well done.
“Well done, thou good and faithful servant…”
Matthew 25:23
