Harold Jackson Obituary


 Harold Jackson was born October 9, 1925 in Greenville, Texas. He was the second of four sons born to Florence and Charlie Jackson. His parents and three brothers preceded him in death.
He departed this life on August 22, 2021 at The Plaza Nursing Facility in Richardson, TX. 
In 1943 Harold enlisted in the U.S. Naval Service and was honorably discharged in 1946.
He married Rosie Lee Smith and to this union four daughters were born.
  Harold was a religious man who believed in God and grew up in the Church Of God In Christ with his mom Florenece Jackson and his siblings. His occupation included cooking and maintenance.
   Harold was always kind and made you smile when in his presence. While at the Plaza , He enjoyed visits from family and friends, especially grandchildren, and well wishes and prayers from the Greenville Ave. Church In Richardson, TX and the North Peoria Church Of Christ in Tulsa, OK where his daughters are members. Harold especially enjoyed Sundays where he participated in the church services at The Plaza which included singing and listening to the word of God.

  He leaves to cherish his memory, four daughters Dolores Swint, Dallas Tx; Elores Stephens (Thurman) Dallas Tx; Connie Anderson (Frank) Broken Arrow, Ok; Marsha Mingilton (Anthony) Wylie, TX and their sister , Karen Trice, Tulsa, Ok.  Also Eight Grandchildren ; LaTece Idlebird (Otis), Rodney Anderson (Jobie), Toni Payne (Jarvis), Ernest Booker Jr. (DeShondra), Anthony Mingilton Jr, Traci Blocker (Carlos), James Swint Jr (Jolena) Mark Anderson (Tia); 19 great-grandchildren and three sisters-in-law- Erma Thompson, California, Rose Smith, Tulsa , Ok and Verna Jackson, Grandview, Missouri.  And A Host Of Other Relatives and friends.  We'll Miss You, Dad! Your Daughters.
